I joined back up to twitter for anyone interested. I am once again Sheryl4321, surprise, surprise! Anyway, I know many of you were on my list and I'm just letting everyone know the ones I want to follow I am re adding. I hope you'll want to add me back! ;o) (Try not to be too fickle and give it a chance this time, really!)
I made a decision. I got my son to join and now I don't want to play. Not true. I don't think he uses it.
Seriously I just grew tired of the inability to count on twitter. Couple that with a format that initially appeared promising but eventually became tedious, and I just don't like popularity contests. That's what Twitter feels like to me. A popularity contest. I wasn't popular as a kid and I'm not interested in whether I am or not now I'm middle aged. I can barely keep up with the programs I have now.
From facebook to Jaiku to netvibes and iilwy. I have no time if I play with this all day. Of course I didn't even mention vox or flickr or even last.fm. Those are programs I don't intend giving up anytime soon so somethings gotta give.
Twitter was fun for about 2 weeks. It's no longer fun. So all you people on my list...I am no longer there. ;-)
Thank you andyb56. I would not have noticed myself, probably. I'm stunned anyone else did! My husband got a BIG laugh out of this one, though not as big as mine.
For those of you who don't 'twitter' it won't make a lot of difference to you, suffice to say if you know Robert Scoble, or know who he is, he was interviewed by a CBS news team and while he was being interviewed he was using Twitter, something I use as well. He has me on his list of people he follows so as he was being interviewed, my name from Twitter, sheryl4321, along with my 'eyes', the same picture I use here to identify myself, showed on his screen as they panned across the screen. So, for one moment in time, I"M BLOODY famous! HAHAHA! I am so gonna use this!!!!!
For you voxers who love vox...the best part? I also was typing about checking vox or updating vox. (Obviously I didn't memorize my spot yet) Very cool indeed!
I was thinking...do you think I can get Ron and David to treat me as a queen for real now? It's worth a try, I say. ;-)
